Barbara Volz is a Principal in the Executive Search Practice of Robert Half. She brings 15 years of executive search experience and specializes in the management of search for and identification and vetting of executive leaders and senior-level and functional management professionals in the disciplines of executive management, financial management, operations management, sales and marketing, healthcare, technology, legal and human resources.
Based in our Lake Mary, Fla. office, Barbara partners with our various Robert Half Executive Search Managing Directors, assisting in the management of searches throughout the United States and internationally.
Barbara has a broad depth of knowledge and experience in executive-level client management and recruiting. She brings focus, dedication and follow-through to her searches due to her understanding and knowledge of our clients, candidates and markets.
Barbara joined Robert Half in 2017 and has successfully executed on senior-level leadership and finance searches across financial, automotive, healthcare, manufacturing, entertainment, defense, nonprofit and association verticals. Prior to joining Robert Half, she spent 13 years with a local executive search firm where she partnered with clients ranging in size from Fortune 500 companies to boutique firms in the financial services industry, growing financial institutions and distribution organizations. She placed sales professionals across diverse product areas including insurance, mutual funds and wealth management; in positions ranging from sales representatives to senior-level and C-suite positions. She has specialized in placing candidates in a variety of positions, including External/Internal Sales Representatives, Relationship Management, Compliance, Operational, Marketing, Product, C-suite and Senior-Level Management.
Prior to working in executive search, Barbara was a Campaign Support Director for a career management firm in Central Florida. There she worked with executives across multiple industries, including financial, manufacturing, retail, technology and telecommunications to help them secure future leadership roles.
Personal and Professional Activities
Throughout her career, Barbara has been an active member of her community, volunteering at the neighborhood food bank, sitting on several boards, and serving as Volunteer Coordinator at her children's school and Committee Chair for the local Scout Pack.
Barbara is a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration.
