Q: What kind of training and certification programs do you offer?

Robert Half is pleased to offer our candidates a state-of-the-art online training program. With a library of over 8,000 courses, we offer a wide variety of IT, desktop and business skills course selections as well as online books from Books24x7. For your convenience, courses are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In addition, CPE credit is available for over 1,000 courses certified by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy and over 600 courses qualify for Professional Development Units (PDUs) through the Project Management Institute.

Q: How do I submit my resume?

To submit your resume, select your field of interest, fill out the required fields, then upload your file or use your LinkedIn profile. Once you’ve submitted your resume, this serves as your candidate profile. You can apply for jobs on our site and subscribe to job alerts to stay updated on new opportunities that meet your preferences.

Q: I’ve submitted my resume. What happens next?

A staffing specialist will contact you if your skills and experience meet the requirements of an open position or match what our clients typically look for. We receive new job requests every day, so continue to check back frequently and apply to those that match your background, credentials and interests.

Q: I was interviewed. Why hasn’t anyone contacted me?

There may be several possible reasons. Perhaps the position you applied for has been staffed or your experience does not match the client’s specified needs. We have new job openings every day, and we recommend that you keep your resume updated and continue to apply for opportunities that match your skill set. Q: Do I have to take a skills assessment?

Robert Half offers an online candidate skills evaluation, Robert Half Skills Assessment, to help determine a candidate's proficiencies and skills related to specific software applications and assignment tasks. Your investment in this short assessment provides you with insights about the work culture and environment you perform best in — and allows us to focus on finding the best available opportunity for you.

Q: Why have I not received my skills assessment invitation?

Check your spam or junk email folder. You should have received an email from [email protected]. If you did not receive the skill assessment invitation, please reach out to your staffing professional.

Q: Who do I contact for technical issues with Robert Half Skills Assessment?

Our Robert Half Skills Assessment vendor provides 24/7 support for technical issues. Please contact them at [email protected]. For all other questions, please reach out to your staffing professional.

 

Work Eligibility and Sponsorship

Q: I am relocating and looking for work in a new city. Can you help?

Robert Half does not typically provide relocation services, where you will be moving, and if you find a great opportunity, contact our office there and speak to a recruiter to learn more about the position.

Q: Do you sponsor H-1B visas?

No, Robert Half does not typically sponsor H-1B visas. Please let your recruiter know up front that you require H-1B sponsorship so that they can determine what if any options are available. Search our open jobs.

 

Time Reports and Payroll

Q: Where do I report my time online?

From a mobile device: If you're a temp or independent contractor in the U.S., you can also submit your time directly in the Robert Half app. (Note: Time Reports are not available for Robert Half Salaried Professionals). Download the app on your iPhone/iPad or Android device and tap Sign In in the top-right of the Home screen. Once signed in, you should see the time entry card in the "Time Reports" section.

From a desktop computer: If you're logged in to your account, you can access the time reporting system by clicking Time Reports in the top-right of your Dashboard. You can also access the time reporting system if you're not logged in from roberthalf.com by clicking Time & W2 in the top right, then signing in.

Q: What operating system do I need on my phone to submit time reports in the Robert Half app?

For iPhones and iPads, the Robert Half app requires iOS version 13 or higher. For Android devices, the app requires Andoid OS version 9 or higher.

Q: I never received my login information. Who should I contact?

First, check your email. You should have received an auto-generated email from [email protected] with your login credentials. If you did not receive the email, please contact Customer Service to request new login credentials: [email protected] or 1.888.744.9202.

Q: How do I save my time after I've entered my hours in the Robert Half mobile app?

There's no need to save your time reports. The app conveniently autosaves your progress. After you've started entering time, your time report is saved as a Draft. You can close the app and return to it later to continue entering time and submit it once you've entered all hours worked for the time period.

Q: How do I view past time reports?

You can access your time reports from the previous 12 months.

From a mobile device: Sign in and tap the Clock icon in the top-right corner of the Home screen.

From a desktop computer: Sign in to your account, click Time & W2 in the top-right of the screen then click Time Report History.

Q: What is the payroll process?

Hours should be submitted for approval each Friday. Payroll is processed Monday through Friday for time report submitted each day. With direct deposit, funds are usually available within 24-48 hours from when the payroll is issued. If you do not have direct deposit, a live check will be mailed on the day the payroll issues. Please allow five business days for postal delivery of a mailed check.

Q: When will my W-2 be available?

W2 forms are now available on Time Reports page.

Q: How do I update my W-4?

Q: How do I submit my I-9 documents?

The email you received from the Robert Half Onboarding Portal contains a link to electronically complete your tax forms and Section 1 of the I-9, including the upload of your supporting I-9 documents. For questions, contact Customer Service at [email protected] or 1.888.744.9202

Q: What is DocuSign? Is it secure?

Robert Half uses DocuSign an electronic signature system that allows you to sign many of the required intake documents. DocuSign is a cloud-based service provider that offers a fast, easy and secure way to electronically sign documents. While you are always welcome to sign all documents at our office, the electronic signature process also affords you the time to read through the documents at your leisure.

Q: I forgot my user ID and/or password. How do I access online training?

If you forgot your user ID or password, go to the login page click Forgot your user ID? or Forgot your password? and follow the steps. If you still have questions, contact your local recruiter. For program questions, contact [email protected]. For performance issues, contact SkillSoft technical support at [email protected] or 1.866.754.5435.

 

Mobile App

Q: Who do I contact for help with the Robert Half app?

Q: Can I enter and submit my time in the app?

Yes, if you're a temp or independent contractor in the U.S., you can now enter and submit your time on your mobile device with the Robert Half app. Download the app on your iPhone/iPad or Android device and tap Sign In in the top-right of the Home screen. Once signed in, you should see the time entry card in the "Time Reports" section. For more information about submitting your time, see the FAQs for Time Reports and Payroll.

Q: How do I set or change my availability status?

Setting and updating your availability status is currently unavailable in the app. We're working on adding this feature to our app and appreciate your patience. In the meantime, please use your favorite web browser to set or change your availability status.

Q: How can I see the jobs I've applied to?

To see jobs you've applied to, tap My Jobs at the bottom of the Home screen, then choose Applied at the top of the screen.

Q: How do I update my existing resume?

Updating your resume isn’t available in the Robert Half app. However, you can always update your Profile by tapping Profile in the bottom-right corner of the app.

 

Account Management

Q: How do I find my username?

Your username is typically your personal email address. If you still can’t log in, follow these directions:

From a mobile device: Open the app and tap "Forgot username?" on the Sign In screen. Enter your email address in the next screen, tap Recover Username, and we'll email your username to you.

From a desktop computer: Click "Forgot username?" on the Sign In screen. Enter your email address in the next screen, click Recover Username, and we'll email your username to you.

Q: How do I change the email address and username in my Profile?

Sorry, you can't change the email address you used to create your account from our app or website. Please contact your local Robert Half branch office or [email protected] to update your email address.
